Temporary Closure of Station 2 – September 28-30

The New Lenox Fire Protection District (NLFPD) would like to notify residents that Fire Station 2, located at 1205 N. Cedar Road, will be temporarily closed September 28–30, 2026, while ComEd completes a power switchover following renovations at the station.

During this temporary closure, the crews who typically operate from Station 2 will be working out of Fire Station 1, located at 261 E. Maple Street, and will continue responding to emergency calls throughout the District.

Residents should continue to call 911 for all emergencies. The temporary closure will not affect the District's ability to provide emergency services to the community.
