Citizens Fire Academy

Skyview VFC are holdin a Citizens Fire Academy. The Citizens Fire Academy is a free, hands-on program designed to give community members an inside look at the fire service. Participants will learn about fire suppression, vehicle rescue, fire prevention, specialized equipment, and the daily operations of your local volunteer fire department. You'll have the opportunity to meet our firefighters, tour our station, and participate in interactive demonstrations that showcase the skills and teamwork required to serve our community. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a Firefighter? Well here your opportunity to try it out.

The Citizens Fire Academy will begin Thursdays from September 24, 2026 through October 29, 2026. Hours will be 7pm-9pm.

Please complete the registration form below. Space is limited, and participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We look forward to welcoming you to the Skyview Volunteer Fire Company and sharing what it takes to protect the West Mifflin community.
