Rope Rescue - Roof Pick Off |

| Training continues every Thursday night. This week, members expanded rope rescue scenarios by practicing the removal of a patient with injuries from a roof. Roofs can be challenging, as each one is often unique—whether flat or pitched, parapeted, or obstructed by a faux mansard. During this exercise, Ladder 86 was used as a high point, allowing a haul and belay team to manage both ascending and descending operations. A separate scenario used the ladder to provide the force needed to raise and lower the patient, with a belay team in place for safety. Both new and experienced members gained valuable knowledge throughout these exercises. |
