| Once completed and placed into service, this apparatus will be housed at Fire Station 2 and proudly serve the residents of Palmer Township. Our new Ladder 2 will replace our current 1997 Pierce Lance 105-foot aerial, which has served our community as 2721. We would like to extend a special thank-you to Bob Adams of Glick Fire Equipment for taking the time to accompany our members throughout this process. A huge thank-you also goes to our salesman, Rob Macchia, who has gone above and beyond with both our recent rescue truck build and now our new ladder truck. His time, dedication, and experience, along with his collaboration with the entire Pierce / Glick team, have been instrumental in bringing these projects to fruition. We truly appreciate his commitment to helping us provide the best equipment possible for our firefighters and community. Of course, after several long days of reviewing the truck build and finalizing the details, there was also time to celebrate! The guys took the opportunity to celebrate an early 40th birthday for Captain Andrew Rossi. 🎉 It was a productive and memorable few days in Wisconsin, watching this exciting project come together while enjoying some well-deserved time together. We look forward to welcoming the new Ladder 2 home soon and putting it into service for the residents of Palmer Township! 🚒 |
