Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad Breaks Ground on Station Addition and Renovation!

The Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad is proud to announce the groundbreaking for the addition and renovation of its station!

This important project would not be possible without the generous support of our community and the St. Mary’s County Commissioners. The squad attained its goal of raising three million dollars through fundraising, donations and a county supported loan. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has helped make this project a reality.

The improvements will provide a larger ambulance bay, a dedicated gear room, upgraded living quarters, and a dedicated training room. The renovated facility will also create better separation between public areas and crew spaces, enhancing functionality and supporting our members as they serve the community.

We are excited to take this next step in strengthening our facilities and continuing to provide emergency services to the community we are proud to serve.
