Color Contest Winner's - Children To School Day

Today, members of the Fairfield Community Fire Company and the Fountaindale Volunteer Fire Department escorted the winners of the coloring contest to school. The students were picked up in fire trucks early in the morning and brought to Fairfield Elementary School, where their classmates were waiting to congratulate them.

After the escort, all students participated in a fire safety education program. Firefighters provided tours of the fire apparatus and explained how various tools are used during emergencies.
