| At approximately 6:28 PM tonight, Company 2 responded to a brush fire call on Carr Hill Road in Highland Township. Upon arrival, crews found that a tree had fallen onto power lines, causing them to drop and ignite a small fire along the roadside. Company 2 Fire Police closed a short section of the road and notified the Adams County Electrical Cooperative. At 7:30 PM, the utility company arrived and began repairs on the damaged power lines. No other issues were reported. As a reminder the Fire Danger for our community is at Moderate with no rain forecasted for several days. |
