Training At Station 3 / Landing Zone Safety Class

On Monday evening, members from NBFD traveled to the village of Ickesburg to participate in a Life Lion Landing Zone Safety class. Frank Ceresini III from the Hershey Life Lion team delivered a classroom presentation, discussing important topics such as the Life Lion aircraft, safe landing zones, procedures expected of fire companies, and radio communication.

Due to an emergency call, the Life Lion helicopter was unable to make a landing in Ickesburg for the class.

Members of the East Waterford Fire Company also attended the training.
