EMS Call Scenarios Drill for 09/21/26

This week’s Monday night drill focused on “EMS Call Scenarios” for our members.

During the drill, Vista EMS personnel worked through several simulated emergency medical calls designed to recreate situations our members may encounter while responding throughout the community. Members practiced managing each call from the initial dispatch through arrival, scene size-up, patient assessment, equipment selection, treatment, patient packaging, communication, and preparation for transport.

Scenario-based training allows our EMS personnel to apply their skills in a realistic environment while strengthening communication, decision-making, teamwork, and patient care before encountering similar situations during an actual emergency.
