| 9/18/2026 Update: The Cab/Chasis has moved into the commercial prep area of the factory where it will be readied for paint and installation of components.
1/31/2025 Update: The new Tanker 2 Cab/Chasis was picked up from Truck Enterprises in Hagerstown, Maryland. Pictures have been added and the unit will be stored in the station until Pierce Manufacturing is ready to complete the rest of the build, which is roughly two years.
1/29/2024 Update: On Monday night, prior to our regular scheduled program, members present gathered to witness the contract signing for the replacement of our current Tanker.

The Department decided to order and enter into the contract now to align with the budget for the replacement of this unit which is slated for 2027. The delivery time for this unit is 37.5 months.
Stay tuned for other apparatus updates in the coming weeks. Our new engine is slated to start construction in a few weeks with anticipated delivery in May.
Our new Utility is on order and we should take delivery in April/May. |
