Tuesday Training: For this weeks training the Borough Companies focused on vehicle extraction and stabilization

Members started by going over Rescue 45 and learning about the different equipment it carries and where those tools are located. Basic vehicle stabilization and the use of struts were covered next. For the last portion of the class members were taught basic extraction methods using the hydraulic tools. A lot of newer members were in attendance and this was a great opportunity for them to learn about to tools and how they operate. While extraction is not a primary function of ours it’s important to cross train as we supplement manpower when needed on incidents. Company 41 had 15 members in attendance.
