| At approximately 2:17 pm. on Friday, September 20, 2024, Bay District Station 9 and surrounding companies were dispatched to the intersection of St. Andrew’s Church Road and Indian Bridge Road following a serious motor vehicle collision involving three vehicles, including one overturned SUV with an occupant trapped inside.
Bay District Engine 92 and Squad 1 (LVFD) arrived on the scene and quickly assessed the situation. The SUV’s sole occupant, who was trapped in the overturned vehicle, was successfully extricated in under 20 minutes. The adult driver was then transported by emergency medical personnel to a nearby trauma center for further evaluation and treatment.
The collision involved two pickup trucks, with one pulling a 5th-wheel camper trailer. All occupants of these vehicles declined medical treatment at the scene and reported no injuries.
