Working Fire Box New Freedom Boro Box 58-04 At 8:24 this morning, New Freedom Volunteers were alerted to Independence Drive for multiple reports of a house fire

Chief 58 (Boyer) arrived on scene and reported fire showing from the garage and front door of a two-story residence. A Working Fire Dispatch was immediately requested.

Engine 58-2 arrived with a crew of 3, made entry into the residence, and initiated an aggressive interior fire attack, advancing further into the home.

Tower 58 and Utility 58 arrived shortly after. Members quickly made entry into the residence to conduct a primary search and ensure no occupants remained inside. Fortunately, all occupants were out of the home.

Engine 58-1 arrived and established a water supply from a nearby hydrant, supplying Engine 58-2 while additional members made their way to the scene to assist with fire suppression.

Mutual aid departments arrived and assisted with establishing a second water supply, checking for fire extension into the second floor and attic, and extinguishing fire on the rear of the residence.

We would like to thank all of our mutual aid partners for their quick response and assistance.
