Attached is the donation flyer for this year’s Target Heroes & Helpers event scheduled for December 15. Please feel free to share it. During the event PSP and other first responders pair up with children from under-resource communities to assist them in their shopping at the Target at Glen Mills. Children are selected through referrals from local schools, social workers, counselors, and community organizations. We focus on families facing financial hardship or unique challenges to ensure the support goes to those who truly need it. The money for the purchases comes from donations gathered from the community. Last year we were able to raise over $4,000 and provide gifts for 17 local children in need, this would be the second year doing it. 100% of the donations will go towards the purchases made by the participating children. Hope that clears up some question people may have, if anyone has questions or would like to donate, please have them reach out to me directly. Thank you for helping us support the local families in need! I will be sending out another email to update everyone. Respectfully, David Trooper David Nguyen | Community Service Officer |
