Passing of John J. Barry

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ex-Commissioner and Ex-Chief John J. Barry.

John dedicated over 45 years of extraordinary service to the Bedford Fire Department and our community. A true fixture at the firehouse, John could always be found lending a hand—whether working in the kitchen, serving on committees, preparing food for department events, or simply sharing stories and laughs with fellow members. His dedication also helped pave the way for our new firehouse location.

We will share information regarding services once details are scheduled. Join us in honoring John’s lifetime of service and keeping his family in your thoughts.
