Another busy month for the Somers Volunteer Fire Department! Throughout October, our members responded to 77 fire 🚒 calls and 235 EMS 🚑 calls, bringing our 2026 year-to-date total to 2,603 calls! Behind every call is a neighbor who needs help, and behind every response are dedicated volunteers ready to answer. ❤️ As our call volume continues to grow, so does our need for more volunteers. Whether you’re interested in Fire or EMS, our community needs you! No experience necessary — we’ll provide the training! Interested in joining? Visit somersvfd.com or fill out our membership interest form here: https://www.somersvfd.com/apps/public/database/formAdd.cfm?Form_ID=19 🚒 2,603 calls. One community.
