November 1, 2026

The Pleasant Valley Fire District reminds everyone that Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 1, 2026!

🕒 Remember to turn your clocks BACK one hour before going to bed Saturday night!

While you're at it, take a few minutes to protect your family by checking your home's smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

🔥 FIRE SAFETY CHECKLIST:
✅ Test all smoke alarms.
✅ Test carbon monoxide alarms.
✅ Replace batteries as needed, unless your alarms have sealed, long-life batteries.
✅ Replace any alarms that are expired or no longer working.
✅ Make sure smoke alarms are installed inside bedrooms, outside sleeping areas, and on every level of your home.

A working smoke alarm can provide the early warning you need to get your family to safety. Don't wait until it's too late!

❤️ A simple reminder today can help protect your family tomorrow.
