| As it's starting to get colder, it's that time of the year for daylight saving time again. Daylight Saving Time ends, November 1, 2026, and is quickly approaching, and it's that confusing time of year again when everyone scrambles to remember they have to turn their clocks forward or backward. Clocks fall back one hour on Sunday, November 1st, meaning it's that time when, for one magical night — this year, a Saturday, we will be cushioned by an extra hour of sleep. When local daylight time is about to reach Sunday, November 1, 2026, 2:00:00 AM clocks are turned backward 1 hour to Sunday, November 1, 2026, 1:00:00 AM local standard time instead. Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour earlier on Nov 1, 2026 than the day before. It also means we will have sunnier morning commutes and darker evening commutes. In addition to “falling back one hour”, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends testing your smoke alarms. Safety First Safety Always |
