This evening, members of the Carroll County Department of Fire & Emergency Medical Services participated in the Carroll County Government Employment Expo at the Carroll County Ag Center, sharing opportunities for careers in fire and emergency medical services.

Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company was proud to have Engine 91 on display, with apprentice firefighter Lee Flohr joining Carroll County’s career personnel for the evening.

The event also brought together members of the paid department’s leadership, including Chief Robinson, highlighting the opportunities available to those interested in serving through the fire and EMS profession.

And what an appropriate day for it!

Today is National First Responders Day, a day to recognize those who answer the call, whether career or volunteer, and the shared commitment to protecting our communities.

We are proud of the partnership between career and volunteer personnel who work together every day to serve the citizens of Carroll County.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this evening’s event and to all who dedicate themselves to serving others!

🚒🚑 Different paths. Shared purpose. One commitment to service.
