This evening, members of the Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department conducted hands-on training at an acquired structure, focusing on several critical interior firefighting skills

Training included:

• Ventilation Operations
•Primary and Secondary Interior Searches
•Fire Attack Operations under simulated smoke conditions

Training in acquired structures provides our members with valuable opportunities to practice essential skills in a realistic environment, helping ensure we remain prepared to serve our community when the call comes in.

Also this evening, Chief Hunter Hagy presented Captain Don Hagy, Firefighter Justin Gantz, and Lieutenant Royce Deyber with Fire Cam Mini 1080 cameras through our department’s incentive program for obtaining their Pro Board Firefighter II certifications this year!
