The Village of Crestwood would like to inform residents that Village Hall will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day. Village Hall will reopen on Thursday, November 12th, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Veterans Day is a national holiday dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Originally known as Armistice Day, the holiday commemorated the end of World War I, which officially took effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. In 1954, the holiday was renamed Veterans Day to recognize and honor all American veterans for their service and sacrifice.

As we observe this important day, we extend our sincere gratitude to all veterans whose courage, dedication, and selfless service have helped safeguard the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Thank you to all veterans for your service and sacrifice.

We wish everyone a meaningful and reflective Veterans Day.
