| One was dispatched at 7:44pm to a vehicle fire on Dunn Ferry Rd near Pescadora Dr. Firefighters were training at the Calcasieu Emergency Response Training Center and responded with Engine 17.
Command Unit 901 arrived at 7:47pm and reported heavy fire from the Engine compartment. Engine 17 arrived at 7:49pm and suppression was started immediately. The fire was brought under control quickly and completely out at approx 7:56pm.
On scene personnel from HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT assisted with extinguishment since they were training with Ward 6 at CERTC. |
