| Annual Memorial Ceremony Honors Dutchess County First Responders The Dutchess County community is invited to join together on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM for our Annual Memorial Ceremony at the Dutchess 911 Center, Creek Road, Poughkeepsie, NY. This solemn gathering will honor the 78 Dutchess County first responders who answered their last alarms in 2026 — firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, and members of support groups and ladies auxiliaries.
This ceremony is a time to remember and pay tribute to those who served our communities with courage and dedication. The program will include a reading of the names, a moment of silence, and tributes from colleagues and community leaders. Family members, fellow responders, and community members are warmly encouraged to attend and stand together in remembrance.
Program highlights - 9:30 AM — Memorial motorcycle ride departs, sponsored by the **Red Knights Motorcycle Group of Dutchess County. - 11:00 AM — Memorial Ceremony begins at the Dutchess 911 Center. - Reading of names, moment of silence, and tributes.
Light refreshments will be available at the Dutchess 911 Center after the ceremony. For those who wish to continue fellowship, additional refreshments will be served at **Roosevelt Station #3, 830 Violet Ave, Hyde Park**.
